GPNL is working with Paws Rescue Qatar, Candy’s Hound Rescue International, and Motorcity Greyhound Rescue to transport rescued Salukis and Whippets to Newfoundland prior to the CFIA import ban on dogs from 100 countries, coming into effect on September, 28, 2022. Middle Eastern Salukis Available for Adoption

UPDATE: Due to the uncertainty of travel for our reserved Salukis from Qatar, the Board has made the difficult decision to release our reserved dogs there. Meet Zara!

  Our friends at MotorCity Greyhound Rescue asked us to help find a forever home for Zara, a “Wadi Dog” (street dog) from Oman. Zara arrived in Newfoundland on Friday, July 9 and quickly settled into her foster home. Zara was found on the streets of Oman (United Arab Emirates) injured and immediately taken to Muscat Dog Rescue for medical attention.
