UPDATE: Due to the uncertainty of travel for our reserved Salukis from Qatar, the Board has made the difficult decision to release our reserved dogs there. GPNL will remain committed to Middle Eastern Salukis, as we are to all sighthounds, but it is not in the best interests of our adopters to not have a scheduled arrival date, or tie up GPNL funds. In the future, any Salukis that GPNL offer for adoption will be in Canada and can fly in a relatively short time span.

Available to Adopt

APRIL

April is an 8 month old female Saluki who is currently in Qatar and will travel to GPNL in late September.

April is spayed, fully vaccinated and tested negative for tick borne diseases.

She is a social girl and very friendly with people. Although initially shy when she first came in to rescue, she has settled well and adapted to being walked by visitors and plays nicely with the other dogs. She is able to mix well with others.

ROHAN

Rohan is a 5 year old male Saluki who weighs approximately 50lbs. He is very sweet and gets along with kids and most other dogs (but not dominant ones). And he has not had any issues with their two semi-feral cats.

He is good on leash and his foster family says he is smart, gentle, and loves to cuddle! Rohan is great in the house and yard but is a little anxious about going out into the world. Having another dog around would give him confidence.

Rohan is energetic at times but also loves to curl up and sleep. He is is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
