2021 at a Glance
We faced many challenges in 2021, from availability of dogs and COVID border restrictions to getting XL kennels on the flights to Newfoundland. But despite it all we were able to successfully place 19 dogs into forever homes in the province, including:
- Gonzo (Greyhound/US)
- Zara (Wadi Dog/United Arab Emirates)
- Rohan (Saluki/Qatar)
- Prim (Whippet/China)
- Indy (Greyhound/China)
- River (Greyhound/China)
- Baby Merlin (Greyhound/China)
- Helen (Greyhound/China)
- Eleven (Greyhound/China)
- Lucy (Whippet/China)
- Cache (Greyhound/China)
- Anning (Whippet/China)
- Luka (Whippet/China)
- Luna (Greyhound/China)
- Geisha (Greyhound/China)
- Merlin (Greyhound/China)
- Piper (Whippet/China)
- Lukey (Saluki/Qatar)
- Willow (Saluki/Qatar)
Congratulations to all the doggos and their new families!
Of course, none of what we’ve achieved this year would have been possible without YOU!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one who purchased tickets, donated, volunteered for Christmas at the Glacier, and showed up to our walks. We simply could not do what we do without you and there will never be enough words to convey how much we appreciate your ongoing support.
We also want to send a special thanks to our many new friends who helped out in China and Ontario, including Candy’s Hound Rescue International, MotorCity Greyhound Rescue, Danielle, Annie, Tracey, Janet, Farzad, and Joanna.
But we’re not the only ones who want to say thanks:
From all of us at GPNL, have a safe and happy holiday season and a very Happy New Year!
And stay tuned, cause we’ll be back in 2022 with more adventures!
