We will also be collecting cash donations in support of Odi, a five year old street dog from Kosovo. Odi was rescued as a puppy by his owner, Olt. Olt was just 12 at the time but his family eventually agreed to let him keep Odi. Olt (now 17) has the opportunity to study in BC but cannot bring Odi with him. Odi can’t stay in Kosovo. Olt’s family can’t take care of Odi and dogs are not safe in Kosovo.
GPNL board member Andrea, along with Heather Gordon of Snow Dogs NL, are helping bring Odi to Newfoundland where he can find a forever home. Any donations collected at the walk will go directly to bringing Odi to Newfoundland.
